Kat Ridout, Accredited Practising Dietitian. Fertility, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, supporting women across New South Wales online.
Nutrition care for every stage, wherever you are in NSW
Whether you are preparing your body to conceive, going through IVF at IVF Australia or Genea, managing gestational diabetes, or finding your feet after birth, Kat gives you a clear, practical plan grounded in current research. No fad diets. No overwhelm. Just food that works for your body and your goals.
Why Sydney women choose Kat
Kat is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and an Early Life Nutrition Alliance alumna, with a Graduate Certificate in Research in prenatal nutrition from QUT. She works with women one to one, so your plan is built around your history, your bloods and your life, not a template.
Fertility and pregnancy nutrition is well served by hospitals in New South Wales, but rarely by a dedicated dietitian who walks the whole journey with you. That is the gap Kat fills, from preconception through to postpartum.
What Kat helps Sydney clients with
- Preconception and fertility nutrition, including IVF preparation and the two-week wait
- PCOS and endometriosis
- Gestational diabetes, with a plan that keeps blood glucose steady without the stress
- Pregnancy nutrition trimester by trimester
- Postpartum recovery and breastfeeding nutrition
What happens on your free 15-minute call
No preparation needed. Just show up and talk. Here is how the 15 minutes usually go.
- You share where you are at (5 min). Tell Kat about your situation, your history, what you have already tried, and what is worrying you most right now.
- Kat tells you what she would do (7 min). A straight answer on whether nutrition support would actually help you, what that would look like, and what to expect.
- You decide, with no pressure (3 min). If it is a fit, Kat explains the options and costs. If it is not, she will point you to something that suits you better.
How telehealth works
You book a time, you get a video link, and you meet Kat from your kitchen table. Everything after that, your plan, your resources and your follow-ups, comes to you online. You never need to drive across Sydney or sit in a waiting room.
Common questions
Do you work with clients outside Brisbane?
Yes. Kat supports women across New South Wales and all of Australia through telehealth.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No referral needed. You can book directly online.
Can I claim a rebate?
If you have a GP referral under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), or private health extras, you may be eligible. Kat will talk you through it on your call.
I am doing IVF in Sydney. Can you work alongside my clinic?
Yes. Kat provides nutrition support that complements the care you are already getting at your fertility clinic.
What if I am not in Sydney?
That is fine. Everything runs over video, so it works the same from Newcastle or Wollongong as it does from the CBD.

Endometriosis nutrition for Sydney
Endometriosis can make eating well feel like one more thing to manage, especially when you are also trying to conceive. As a fertility and pregnancy dietitian working with Sydney clients online, Kat Ridout APD helps you build an eating pattern that supports your cycle, your gut and your energy levels, alongside the care of your gynaecologist or GP. Nutrition is not a treatment for endometriosis, and it does not replace medical management, but it is one of the parts you can influence day to day. You can read more about endometriosis and fertility nutrition, or book a consult from anywhere in New South Wales, with appointment times that suit AEST and AEDT.
